Nottingham Forest striker Sam Surridge is a potential Ipswich Town transfer target, it's been reported.

Sunday Mirror journalist Darren Witcoop says the 24-year-old has been added to the Blues' wish list.

He adds that Everton front man Ellis Simms remains a target, while interest in Portsmouth striker Colby Bishop has cooled.

Former Bournemouth and Stoke striker Surridge represented England at U21 level.

He moved to Forest for a reported £2.2m in January 2022 and helped fire them to the top-flight with eight goals in the second half of the season.

Surridge was subsequently used almost exclusively as an impact sub in the Premier League last season, scoring once in the top-flight.
