Steven Alzate is set to feature for Ipswich Town as a trialist in this afternoon's friendly game against Nice at Portman Road, the EADT and Ipswich Star understands.
Azate, 25, was released by Brighton this summer having made 43 appearances for the club.
A seven-cap Colombia international, he was born in London and started out at Leyton Orient before joining the Seagulls in 2017.
He's spent the last two seasons out on loan at Belgian club Standard Liege.
Town's game against Nice kicks off at 12.30pm.
