Ipswich Town trialist Steven Alzate is reportedly being targeted by Serie A and La Liga clubs.
The midfielder has been training with the Blues in the last few days and was named on the bench for their 1-0 win against Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice.
However, Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra has claimed that Italian side Genoa are 'leading the race' to sign him on a free transfer following his release from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Serie A rivals Fiorentina and La Liga duo Sevilla and Celta de Vigo have apparently asked for his terms as well, although he's yet to receive a contract offer for the upcoming campaign.
Alzate, 25, made 43 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls before departing at the end of last season, having spent the last two campaigns out on loan at Belgian club Standard Liege.
His only top-flight goal came away at Liverpool, who Town will host at Portman Road in their Premier League opener on Saturday afternoon.
