Former Ipswich Town winger Mustapha Carayol has joined League One side Exeter City on a short term deal until January.
The 36-year-old has been without a club since being released by fellow third tier side Burton Albion at the end of last season.
Carayol featured 62 times for the Brewers, scoring three goals during his two seasons at the Pirelli Stadium, having joined on a free transfer from Gillingham in September 2022.
He now joins up with Gary Caldwell's side after completing the PFA's pre-season training programme and has been training with the Grecians for the last couple of weeks.
On signing for the Devon side, Carayol said: "I'm really excited to be here and am thankful for the opportunity, hopefully I can help the team as much as I can.
✍️ Welcome, Mustapha Carayol 🤝

"I've been with the team for the last two weeks and everyone has been welcoming - I've really enjoyed it."
Carayol had a brief spell at Portman Road back in 2018, playing just eight games in all competitions, scoring once.
The experienced attacker went on to have spells in Cyprus and Turkey, before returning to England in 2021.
