Ipswich Town young full-back Ayyuba Jambang has joined Chatham Town on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

The 20-year-old has been a regular for the Blues' Under-21s side since joining from Reading in September 2023, following a trial spell. He previously had a stint in the Norwich City's youth set-up.

Jambang spent the second half of 2023/24 on loan at National League South side Aveley, but now joins Kevin Hake's side, who play in the Isthmian League Premier Division, the seventh tier of English football and currently sit eighth in the table.

He will link-up with former Town forward Freddie Sears at the Bauvill Stadium, who joined the Kent side last summer.

The right-back could make his debut for the Chats as they host Wingate & Finchley tomorrow.
