Ipswich Town have discovered 19 of their Championship opponents for next season after the final day of the EFL campaign on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues will be relegated to the second tier alongside Leicester City and Southampton, with Leeds United and Burnley going the other way after securing promotion to the Premier League.

They will be joined by one of four teams. Sheffield United, Sunderland, Coventry City and Bristol City have all qualified for the play-offs, which will start later this week.

Sheffield United will take on Bristol City, with Sunderland facing Coventry. The winners of the two ties will meet at Wembley on May 24th.

At the bottom of the Championship, Cardiff City were the first side relegated down to League One. They will be joined by Plymouth Argyle and Luton Town, with the latter suffering back-to-back relegations from the Premier League to the third tier.

The Hatters were actually out of the bottom three ahead of the final day, but their defeat to West Brom, coupled with Hull City's draw at Portsmouth, ensured that Town will not have to visit Kenilworth Road next season.

The East Anglian derby will also return next season, with Norwich City finishing 13th in the Championship. The Canaries sacked boss Johannes Hoff Thorup, with interim manager Jack Wilshere the frontrunner for the job on a permanent basis.

Promoted from League One are Birmingham City, who broke Reading's points record for an EFL team, reaching 111 after their narrow win at Cambridge United.

They will be joined by Wrexham, who are back in the second tier since 1981/82, having earned three successive promotions under the ownership of Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

Their only competitive game against Ipswich came back in the 1995 FA Cup, which the Red Dragons won 2-1.

In the play-offs, Stockport County will take on Leyton Orient, with Charlton Athletic up against Wycombe Wanderers. The winners will face off at Wembley on May 25th for a spot in the Championship.
