AFC SUDBURY suffered their biggest defeat of the season after being comprehensively outplayed by league-leaders Leamington.

A powerful three-goal first half performance was enough to put the midlands side on course to stretch their 100% record to ten matches, with leading scorer Bellingham proving the scourge of the home side with two further goals.

Hawes was a hair's-breadth away from giving AFC the lead, just failing to make contact with Rowe's cross, before stand-in keeper Benstead was punished for a moment's hesitation when Corbett beat him to Bellingham's cross to head in.

Morris denied Rowe an equaliser, parrying his goalbound shot, before Bellingham virtually sealed the result with two headers before the break.

The hosts improved in the second half, with Rowe heading the wrong side of the post from close range, but they were punished further when Stanley was allowed to turn in the area and score with a superb low shot.
