AFC Sudbury’s Mel Group Stadium and Bloomfields, home of Needham Market, have been chosen to stage this season’s LB Group Suffolk Premier Cup semi-final ties.

The draws for all the Suffolk FA county cups took place last Friday night, but the venues have only just been confirmed.

Leiston will face Bury Town at Needham Market and Lowestoft Town will take on Haverhill Rovers in Sudbury for a place in the final at Portman Road.

Debenham LC and Hadleigh United will host the Suffolk Senior Cup semi-finals.

Jairo Marin, football services manager at Suffolk FA, said: “The hosting clubs have been selected on a geographical basis to prevent semi-finalists travelling long distances but just as importantly to ensure that the day is enjoyed by both clubs.

“The support of clubs within the county to host a semi-final has been fantastic and I would like to thank them for being so amenable.”
