AFC Sudbury manager David Batch has signed a new two-year deal to stay with the club until at least the end of the 2015/16 season.
The club’s performances have improved vastly this season under Batch, with the side up around the play-off places, following a season of struggle in Ryman League Division One North last season.
AFC Director Richard Instance said: “This season has seen the side play well organised and attractive and mostly winning football, something we at Sudbury want our supporters to see.
“Not only has David has put together a well-balanced first team but has been instrumental in helping create a young and vibrant reserve/under-21 side with four players being called up this season for county representative games.”
