Kris Newby was the hero, pouncing with two minutes left of extra-time, to send AFC Sudbury into the next round of the FA Cup, on Tuesday.

Newby headed home Michael Shinn’s cross to grab the decisive goal in the 3-2 victory against Redbridge in the Fourth Qualifying Round

Newby had levelled in the first half but could not stop his team going into the break 2-1 down.

The hosts grabbed a second equaliser courtesy of Craig Pope.

Sudbury will be at home to FC Romania in the Preliminary Round a week on Saturday.
