Striker Danny Phillips netted a hat-trick for Needham as they comfortably beat fellow Ridgeons League Premier Division side Wisbech Town 4-0, Danny Thrower grabbing the other.
Nicky Smith's AFC Sudbury, who play a step higher than Needham, came from behind to win 2-1 at Woodford United.
The two teams will meet at AFC Sudbury's Kings's Marsh Stadium on Saturday, September 12 when they will be playing for prize money worth �3,000 to the winners.
