No striker was signed on a permanent basis on transfer deadline day, skipper Luke Chambers saw a move to Nottingham Forest blocked at the last minute, while manager Mick McCarthy reiterated he will consider his future this summer following Tuesday night’s 3-0 home loss to Derby.
