Speedway: Dudley 51 Mildenhall 39. The Fen Tigers went down by 12 points at Dudley last night in the National Shield, with Jon Armstrong leading the fight. Armstrong was only beaten twice in a meeting that took more than two hours to complete. Mildenhall kept the score close in the first half of the meeting, but the home side, led by former Fen Tiger Lewis Blackbird, pulled away and ran out comfortable victors.
