SAINT Edmunds Archers are taking part in the Big Archery Weekend by opening their doors to the general public.

Archery GB would like to give the public an opportunity to learn more about the sport, following the TV coverage it has received during the Olympic Games.

On Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, the club will be at Whepstead Community Centre from 10am-4pm to both demonstrate the sport and provide the opportunity for anyone, able-bodied or disabled, from eight to 80, to have a go for free.

Refreshments will be available and there will also be a raffle.
