The former Irish international and Arsenal star was taken for treatment in Dublin.
A spokeswoman for Beaumont Hospital said Brady was in a stable condition.
Brady travelled to Norway with the Republic squad for last night's friendly in Oslo, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
