Rangers tickets are already on sale.
Town's first round Carling Cup tie against Yeovil Town will be played on Wednesday August 24.
And Town's home league match with Preston North End on Bank Holiday Monday August 29 has been chosen for Sky television. The match was due to be played at 3pm but may now be moved to 5.35pm.
Another match which may be moved is the home game with Coventry City, which is planned for Tuesday, October 18, as the previous weekend's match at Reading has been moved to the Sunday for Sky coverage. Town may now prefer to play Coventry on the Wednesday of that week.
