THERE were plenty of big attendances in the Ridgeons League over the Festive period.The highest league attendance for several seasons was attracted to Crown Meadow, Lowestoft on Saturday where 1,523 watched league leaders Lowestoft Town beat local rivals Kirkley & Pakefield 2-1.
THERE were plenty of big attendances in the Ridgeons League over the Festive period.
The highest league attendance for several seasons was attracted to Crown Meadow, Lowestoft on Saturday where 1,523 watched league leaders Lowestoft Town beat local rivals Kirkley & Pakefield 2-1. Mildenhall Town and Whitton United also had their highest Premier Division attendances of the season.
In the First Division all but two of the matches played on Friday and Saturday had season best crowds for the home side. The 440 at Gorleston v Great Yarmouth Town on Boxing Day was the highest First Division attendance for many seasons.
