GOALS Soccer Centre, including their Ipswich facility, have become the first facility-based small sided football provider to have achieved the FA Small Sided Accreditation, establishing themselves as one of only a few small sided providers to hold this quality accreditation.

An independent assessment was held by the Football Association, and demonstrates Goals Soccer Centres commitment to customer service and quality in the delivery of small sided football.

Goals has earned the right to display the coveted FA Small Sided Accreditation logo in their Ipswich branch to demonstrate its adherence to the standard. The FA Small Sided Accreditation was only recently introduced in 2011 and requires providers to demonstrate that they maintain high standards with a quality management system in place to ensure consistency and improvement; leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified providers are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained.

Goals Soccer Centre, including Ipswich, demonstrated in its external assessment that they meet all five areas of the standard in providing a high level of service by ensuring reliability and consistency which gives its customers a high level of confidence when playing or hiring its football facilities.

Simon Walker, FA National Manager for Adult Grassroots Football, said: “Through undertaking the FA Small Sided Football Accreditation, Goals have demonstrated that they operate their small sided football centres to the highest of standards. The accreditation rigorously examines all aspects of how a small sided provider operates their business and Goals should be proud that they have attained this standard.”

The FA Small Sided Football Accreditation has been aligned to other industry leading quality assurance kitemarks. This helps to ensure that the Accreditation is fit-for-purpose and not only meets the football aspects but also the business elements in operating Small Sided Football provision.
