FIRST-TEAM Coach Barry Lakin has called time on his job at Heybridge Swifts, it was confirmed on Saturday.
Lakin stepped back into the Swifts in January 2011 reviving his role as first team coach, a position he had previously held during the Brian Staham era and has been a tremendous character to have around the club and dressing room.
First-Team manager Mark Hawkes who is staying on paid tribute to the work Lakin has done and thanked him for all his hard work for the club on and off the pitch.
The club’s next game is at Grays Athletic on March 24th.
