NE14 Hockey East League

Premier A

Bedford 1 Ipswich II 4

Ipswich took their points tally to 16 for the season and now sit comfortably in mid-table following this win.

Ipswich were never in danger of losing this match and never really stepped up out of third gear, but at times played some lovely stuff.

Cards are still proving a problem as Ipswich were handed a further two yellows, first Dixon for trying to play hurling with a Bedford players stick, which now means Dixon is suspended, Jim Walker soon followed for what seemed a good tackle.

Then, 15 seconds after that, Richard Rutterford decided he could not leave his fellow friends alone on the bench and decided to talk his way off the pitch.

All that aside, goals from Rutterford, M Underwood and Dixon cemented another three points.
