Key Ipswich Town trio Christophe Berra, Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick have all be passed fit for tomorrow night’s televised Championship match at Reading (8pm).

Centre-back Berra missed the 3-2 home defeat against Brighton with a hamstring injury, but has recovered quicker than expected over the international break.

Striker Murphy – the division’s 27-goal top-scorer last season – has missed the last two matches with a calf problem, while fellow front man McGoldrick had to pull out of the Republic of Ireland squad with a groin niggle.

Meanwhile, midfielders Kevin Bru and Teddy Bishop are both back in training and will play for the club’s Under-21s at Birmingham on Monday. Bru (hamstring) hasn’t featured since the 2-2 draw at Brentford on the opening weekend of the season, while Bishop (shins/hamstring) hasn’t featured at all this season.

Long-term absentees Luke Hyam and Luke Varney (both knee) are both making good progress with their rehab and are due to return to action in November.
