Ipswich Town fans appear split as to who should get the nod to play in goal for Saturday’s Championship game at Hull City judging by our online poll.
Blues boss Paul Hurst made the bold decision to drop Bartosz Bialkowski for the East Anglian derby against Norwich City at Portman Road prior to the international break.
The three times Supporters’ Player of the Year, who signed a bumper new contract after returning from World Cup duty with Poland this summer, has repeatedly been hailed as the Championship’s best keeper in recent years but been below-par at the start of this campaign.
Back-up custodian Dean Gerken, who has plenty of Championship experience, produced a solid display in the 1-1 draw against the Canaries.
We asked supporters who they felt should start at the KC Stadium on Saturday and, from more than 1,000 votes, the result was 59% for Bialkowski and 41% for Gerken.
