BURY Town will be without a couple of key players for this afternoon's FA Cup fourth qualifying round match at home to Basingstoke.
Keeper Dean Greygoose and central defender Roscoe Hipperson are both still struggling with injuries, and although Greygoose will be on the bench, he will only be used in an emergency.
This will mean another outing for young keeper Marcus Garnham, who did well too keep a clean-sheet in last week's FA Trophy match. The central defensive partnership of skipper Tom Bullard and Sam Nunn will continue.
Also out of contention is new signing Ben Coker, who was the man-of-the-match on his debut at left back last week. He is cup-tied for this match, and so will be replaced by Ashley Sloots.
On the plus side, Scott Chaplin is available to give manager Richard Wilkins a further attacking option.
Young midfielder Joe Boreham, who has been impressing for Team Bury and the Under-18s, has also earned a place in the squad.
Bury boss Wilkins enthused last night: “It's a massive match for the club, and we're all looking forward to it. A big crowd is expected and we just want to do ourselves justice.”
BURY TOWN: Garnham, Walker, Sloots, Steward, Nunn, Bullard, Smith, Johnson, S Reed, Barrett, L Reed, Bugg, Boreham, Patterson, Chaplin, Steed, Greygoose.
