IPSWICH Town's chances of landing David Norris have taken a dramatic downturn after Plymouth Argyle rejected his written transfer request.
Norris handed in his request on Friday, but at a board meeting in Plymouth late yesterday afternoon the club's directors decided not to accept it.
Ipswich are the only club to have lodged a formal bid for Norris, although Leicester, Norwich, Southampton and Wolves have all expressed an interest.
