Ipswich Town are reportedly set to beat a host of Premier League clubs to the signature of 16-year-old wonderkid Kai Brown.
Teenager Brown, an attacking midfielder, has broken into the first team at Bostik Premier side Grays Athletic this season, making his debut in September against Bowers & Pitsea.
He scored his first goal the following month against Potters Bar Town and has impressed since, attracting attention from several scouts in the Premier League and below.

Town have already signed striker Aaron Drinan, defender Cameron Carter-Vickers and midfielder Stephen Gleeson in the January window and boss Mick McCarthy said last week that there would be no more incomings.

The club are expected to take prolific non-league striker Ben Stephens on trial this week from Stratford, while David McGoldrick and Adam Webster have been linked with moves away from Portman Road before Wednesday’s 11pm deadline.
