TWO Thurlow Nunn League sides have booked their places in end-of-season cup finals.
Brightlingsea Regent won a surprisingly one-sided First Division KO Cup semi-final at promotion rivals Newmarket Town 3-0 last night.
Terry Rymer, with two, and Ricky Griggs, were on target for the visitors, who will now face either Great Yarmouth Town or Ipswich Wanderers in the final. They are scheduled to meet at The Wellesley on Saturday.
Wisbech Town overcame Cambridge University Press 2-0 at Fenland Park last night to reach the final of the Red Insure Cup, previously known as the Ridgeons League Cup.
Goals from Jack Friend and Neal Spafford at Fenland Park were sufficient to set up a final showdown with holders Stanway Rovers at Diss Town FC on Bank Holiday Monday, May 6.
