Ten-man Leiston moved up to sixth in the Ryman Premier table, outside the play-offs on goal difference, thanks to a 3-1 home win against Staines Town this evening.
Tom Bullard scored twice in the second half to cancel out Prince M’bengui’s 13th-minute opener for the 19th-placed visitors.
Bullard got the hosts back on level terms on 53 minutes, three minutes before Seb Dunbar was dismissed.
Centre-back Bullard grabbed his second of the night on 72 minutes before Gareth Heath made the points safe with the Blues’ third goal, a minute later.
