Bury St Edmunds-born Lucinda Gooderham has qualified along with her Great Britain team-mates for the Women’s Quads Final at the European Championships in Belgrade, on Sunday.
The former St Felix School pupil came second, along with Tina Stiller, Beth Rodford and Vicki Meyer-Laker, behind Poland in Heat H2.
They are joined by Belarus and Germany, who also qualified automatically, with the repechage race taking place today.
The men’s eight, including Bury St Edmunds’ Phil Congden, finished third in their heat and will compete in the repechage tomorrow.
