November is going to be an important month in the Culford School sporting calendar, with hockey, netball and cross-country teams all looking to build on an already successful season.
The in-form U-16 and U-14 Girls' hockey teams will be competing in the regional rounds of the National Schools' Cup competition, while the U-14 and U-16 netball teams - both Western Area champions - take part in the Suffolk county finals. To complete the hockey success, the U-15s are also Western Area Champions.
Both boys and girls - in intermediate and junior age groups - have qualified for the regional rounds of the England Schools Cross-Country Competition.
To add to the success so far this term, the school's U-11s girls' hockey team recently won an area tournament held at Brandeston Hall involving 16 other schools.
Headmaster Julian Johnson-Munday said: “We are delighted with the school teams' success so far and we are looking forward to them building on that next month.
“It will be a busy time for all those concerned, but I am certain they will be up to the challenge,” he added.
