NEWMARKET racing driver Michael Caine was one of the stars of the weekend during rounds 11 and 12 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at the Donington Park circuit in Leicestershire.
NEWMARKET racing driver Michael Caine was one of the stars of the weekend during rounds 11 and 12 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at the Donington Park circuit in Leicestershire.
He was named 'RAC driver of the weekend' after a gritty performance saw him claim third place.
Caine was racing for Team Parker Racing in the prestigious race series for identical 400bhp, 170mph racing Porsches, in a key support race to the MSA British Touring Car Championship. His Porsche is backed by Ortho Express, Stace and Barley Construction.
The Carrera Cup season will continue over the weekend of July 28 and 29 at Snetterton.
