EH Men's Cup
Cambridge University 1 Chelmsford 2
Chelmsford progressed to the last 16 of the cup with a hard fought victory over Cambridge University.
Despite going down to an early goal, Chelmsford gave the students few other opportunities with Dean Armstrong marshalling the troops in front of him in an efficient manner, while Chelmsford created a number themselves.
Jon Peckett was a constant thorn in the Cambridge side, his driving runs often broken down in illegal fashion.
It was left to the two Mepham brothers to get the two goals. Josh finished the first one, following excellent work on the right hand side from Adam Hunter, while Luke then converted a stroke after his younger brother had been fouled.
Chelmsford will now face a tough test in the next round of the cup as they take on Premier League Beeston on November 4.
