It’s exciting times for Ipswich Town.
Saturday saw Mick McCarthy’s men twice come from behind to secure a valuable away point at second-place Bournemouth. The Blues are fourth in the Championship table with more than a third of the season gone. An impressive 20 points from a possible 27 have been secured at Portman Road, while away points have been achieved at the likes of Derby (1st), Bournemouth (2nd) and Nottingham Forest (8th). Home attendances are on the rise, more than 1,400 travelling supporters were at Dean Court at the weekend, while more than 2,000 away tickets have already been sold for Town televised match at Charlton (12.15pm).
