IT'S been a fairytale seven days for Ipswich Evening Star Witches fans and they have a chance to help their side cap it off this evening.
Tonight's Elite League clash with Belle Vue at Foxhall will be the last for more than two weeks as the Witches' busy recent schedule comes to an end.
But there is sure to be a great atmosphere at Foxhall tonight as the successful team, who have ridden so superbly on the road, return home to a deserved ovation.
The last week has been crucial as John Louis' side have firmly established themselves as play-off contenders but tonight they can afford no slip-ups.
Belle Vue won 48-42 against Poole on Monday night. Their star man Jason Crump suffered a nasty fall in Sweden on Tuesday night, but he is expected to ride, as is Piotr Swiderski for the Witches, who crashed in the same heat.
Another home victory tonight would be just what the doctor ordered for the Witches and would leave them nicely placed ahead of their two-week break.
Teams
Ipswich: Rider replacement, R Miskowiak, T Kroner, S Johnston, J Hampel, P Swiderski, C Schramm
Belle Vue: J Crump, L Jankowski, C Gjedde, T Woffinden, J Screen, N Simmons, J Raun.
