Ipswich have recorded a morale boosting men's friendly win over their near rivals and higher league opponents Chelmsford.
In a match organised for both sides to gain fitness ahead of the second half of the outdoor season, National South Division Ipswich proved too good for the struggling Division One side.
Ipswich restart the national league programme at home to league leaders University of Exeter at Tuddenham Road on Saturday February2, while Robinsons make the journey from Bristol the following day.
