Chelmsford City drew 2-2 with Heybridge in a pre-season match on Tuesday.
The visiting Clarets were on top throughout large periods of the match, despite falling behind early on in the tie.
The hosts took the lead courtesy of a Luke Callander strike as he tapped into an empty net inside the first 10 minutes and maintained the lead going into the break. Three minutes after the interval the Clarets pulled one back through youngster Joe Ward.
But they fell behind again 16 minutes into the second half, with substitute Arron Green placing his shot into the bottom corner.
Danny Webb equalised some eight minutes later, latching onto a cross and netting his second goal of pre-season to make the final score 2-2.
