CHELMSFORD City’s FA Cup Second Round replay at Macclesfield Town next Wednesday evening (8.05pm), will be televised on ESPN, in a game that could be worth �63,000 to the Clarets.
The winners of the match at Moss Rose will host Premier League side Bolton Wanderers in the third round and will receive �36,000 for appearing on TV plus �27,000 from the FA for reaching the next stage.
Saturday’s first game, at Melbourne Park, ended in a 1-1 draw with the Silkmen’s Tony Diagne cancelling out Max Cornhill’s opener for the Clarets.
