THREE Chelmsford City Ladies FC players starred in the Essex County FA Women's Representative side's victory on Wednesday night against Huntingdonshire.

Keeper Leanne Topper, midfielder Helen Alder and striker Laura Brown were in the squad which saw Essex ease to a comfortable 3-0 East Anglian Counties Championship win.

Laura Brown was instrumental in Essex opening goal as her skill and strength saw her get past the defence and through on goal before squaring the ball to Dagenham & Redbrodge's Nicola Carty to score. Helen Alder had a superb game in the centre of midfield, working tirelessly, her passing precise and confident throughout.

After the match, awards were made to Leanne Topper for her first appearance and Laura Brown was presented with a County Cap for her tenth appearance.
