MICHAEL Chopra has signed for Ipswich Town, the club have confirmed this afternoon.

The 27-year-old striker has become Paul Jewell’s first signing of the summer after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.

Chopra, who was in Ipswich yesterday for a medical and to finalise negotiations, has signed for an undisclosed fee, thought to be in the region of £1.5 million.
