Clacton's supporters went home cold and uninspired after a goal-less game with few chances and little excitement.
The Seasiders never got their passing game going, but defensively were very secure.
Clacton's defence of Colin Hook, Gavin Underhay, Tom Blake, and Pete Wright kept the visitors at bay, allowing keeper Mike Key to keep his first clean sheet of the season.
The closest anyone got to scoring was when a visitor's shot was deflected by Hook, but man-of-the-match Nick Key was alert, covering on the line to save high and clear to safety.

Clacton's midfield battled hard, but were unable to supply the forwards of Sam Hodge, Rik Coleman and Denzil Donovan with easy passes.
Jamie Roberts lacked support from Carl Parkes and Daniel Hunn in the thick of the midfield as the game was dominated by both defences as both keepers were virtual spectators.
On the day, Clacton were the happier with a draw in a game they wanted to win to put some distance between themselves and the teams around the wrong end of the table.
Next week Clacton take on struggling Wapping at Clacton Leisure Centre (14:00) looking to make progress up the table before the Christmas break in two weeks time.
