City overcame a determined Concord side, searching for a play-off place in the Ryman League Division One North, and it took 70 minutes to break down the team joint-managed by Danny Cowley and Danny Scopes. Pennyfather summarised: “It was a tough game and they made it difficult for us, frustrating us and dropping-off to try and nullify Jeff Minton in midfield. Things could have been different had we scored an early goal.”
