HOLDERS Grundisburgh will have to be wary when they visit bottom-of-the-table First Division side Claydon in the fourth round of the Metaltec SIL Omnico Cup on Saturday.
This is because of the 'Wardlaw factor'.
Trevor Wardlaw is now manager of Claydon having enjoyed considerable success as manager with senior clubs Stowmarket Town, East Bergholt and Debenham Leisure Centre and doing well with Old Newton and Framlingham at junior level.
The fourth round will feature 10 Senior Division sides, five from Division One and perennial cup fighters Trimley Red Devils from Division Three, who beat First Division Mendlesham 2-0 in the last round.
A Senior Division side features in each of the eight ties this weekend with Trimley facing Felixstowe United.
