Colchester United have boosted their squad with the signings of West Brom goalkeeper Ethan Ross on a two-year deal and Wolves striker Aaron Collins on a season-long loan.
Ross, 21, was released by the Baggies at the end of the season having failed to make a competitive appearance while Collins, who is also 21, had loan spells with Maidstone and Newport County last season.
The U’s, who finished 13th in the League Two table last season, also signed keeper Bailey Vose from Brighton in the last few days, with regular stopper Sam Walker’s contract expiring this summer, and no new deal being penned.

Ross, Vose and Dillon Barnes will compete for the number one jersey.
The U’s have also signed left-sided defender Noah Chesmain from Millwall this summer. The club were further boosted earlier this week when Luke Prosser signed a new deal to keep him at the club until 2020.
