COPDOCK & Old Ipswichians will be playing top-flight local cricket next season.
They comfortably beat Cambridgeshire side Ramsey by 111 runs in yesterday’s promotion play-off for a place in the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League.
After compiling 303 for six in their 50 overs, Adrian Nel top-scoring with 97, Copdock bowled out their hosts for 192, skipper Chris Swallow taking five for 35, to confirm their promotion.
