Division 4 North East

Crane 7 Bury St Edmunds III 1

Crane came away with a convincing victory after a rain delayed start, dominating their opponents from start to finish.

Andy Bristow opened the scoring after good work by Adrian Dawson, but Bury struck back shortly afterwards as the Crane defence seemed to freeze.

Bristow soon re-established Cranes lead with a neat finish after being put through by Craig Bloomfield before Ali Black widened the gap, springing onto a misplaced Bury back pass to round the keeper and walk the ball in with expert ease.

This misfortune seemed to knock the stuffing out of a Bury side who were putting up stubborn resistance and the second half developed into a procession, Dawson, Bloomfield and Revan Jones getting on the score sheet before Bristow completed his hat trick.
