Chelsea Champions League hero Didier Drogba will leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires at the end of next month, the Blues have announced.

The Ivory Coast international, who scored the winning goal in the penalty shoot-out in Saturday’s dramatic victory over Bayern Munich, has been linked with Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, now managed by former Chelsea team-mate, Nicolas Anelka

The 34-year-old scored 157 in 341 games for the Londoners and won 10 titles during an eight-year spell with the club.
