FELIXSTOWE & Walton United continue their pre-season build up on Saturday when they entertain Ryman Division One (North) outfit Romford FC.
The visitors will be competing in the same division as last season’s Ridgeons League champions Needham Market plus AFC Sudbury, who are moving across from the Zameretto League this term.
For the second consecutive week it will be a ‘double header’ with the respective first teams kicking off at mid-day and the reserve sides starting at 3pm.
Joint managers Kevin Witchalls and Andy Clarke will be hoping for an improved goal-to-shot ratio after Tuesday’s game against Team Bury when Felixstowe missed a hatful of chances in a 1-1 draw.
The visitors finished just below mid-table in the Ryman Division One North last season so will provide The Seasiders with a stiff test with a fortnight to go before the new season kicks off in earnest.
