Mendham’s Peter Wright was named the PDC’s (Professional Darts Corporation) Most Improved Player at Monday night’s presentation at The Dorchester.
Wright, who reached the final of the World Championship earlier this month, was also voted PDPA Players’ Player of the Year, edging out his nemesis in the final, Dutchman Michael van Gerwen, for that honour.
