COLCHESTER United boss Joe Dunne heaped praise on double goal-scorer Jabo Ibehre, following today’s 2-0 win at Stevenage.
The U’s hauled themselves out of the bottom four, thanks to Ibehre’s second-half goals on 62 and 71 minutes, combined with favourable results elsewhere.
Dunne enthused: “When Jabo plays well, we generally play well!
“Jabo’s a handful for everybody, and he fully deserved his goals.
“I’ve told the players to let me take the pressure, and let me take the bullets. We deal with this pressure every day.
“We’re keeping clean-sheets, and we’re playing well, but we have to keep this up now,” added Dunne.
The U’s face another key game away at Hartlepool on Tuesday evening.
