KEVIN Eagle of Rushmere is runaway leader of the Suffolk Golf Union order of merit table with 36.5 points after four appearances.

Adrian Meredith (Hintlesham) is lying second with 18.5 points and Phil Westley, also of Hintlesham, is third with 17 points. David James (Gorleston) has 13.5 points and David Quinney (Haverhill) has 13.

The Suffolk Open Championship at Stowmarket on August 18 and 19 and the Coronation Cup at Felixstowe Ferry on August 26 have still to be played.
