Ipswich’s Corrin Eaton and Steve Aimable, who fights out of the Colchester-based powerhouse BKK Fighters Gym, have both committed their fighting talents to Cage Warriors.

The promotion, which has three huge events planned in Liverpool, Birmingham and Cardiff later this year, is known as a feeder-league for the world-famous UFC, and hosts the very best European prospects.

Former Cage Warriors champions include Irish uberstar and former double UFC title holder Conor McGregor and the likes of former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and ex-UFC welterweight title challenger Dan Hardy.

Eaton, who has previously fought on both the BCMMA and Contenders promotions – based in Colchester and Norwich respectively – is coming off a fight of the year contender on Cage Warriors 92 in March.

The Suffolk featherweight went to war with Dean Trueman in a fight for the ages, which ended with Trueman’s hand raised via unanimous decision, but Eaton’s reputation thoroughly enhanced.

Eaton, who fights out of Team Titan MMA under British legend Brad Pickett and renowned coach Mickey Papas, boasts a 9-3 record with one no contest.

Meanwhile, fellow featherweight Aimable is also coming off a thrilling fight, this time at Cage Warriors 95, against the unbeaten Paull McBain.

He too finished on the wrong side of a unanimous decision, but impressed Cage Warriors top brass with his gutsy, skilled showing.

The 30-year-old has a 10-5 record, and hopes to get two more fights in before the end of the year.

Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan said: “Our mission has stayed the same since we began – to become the home for Europe’s top fighting talent, and provide a platform for them to develop their careers.

“We’re delighted to offer that chance to a new crop of names that we’ve had our eyes on for a while. A Cage Warriors contract is a valuable and lucrative asset to a fighter’s career, and with our roster getting stronger by the day, we will only be offering contracts to the best.”
